PartnerStack vs Rewardful: Which Should Your SaaS Pick in 2026?

One prices you in a sales demo, the other starts at $49 a month: they aren't really the same tool. A straight comparison of the enterprise PRM versus the focused affiliate app, with every price checked against both pages in October 2026, plus Affitor, the $0/month option that starts where they both charge.

PartnerStack and Rewardful both show up when you search for affiliate software, but putting them side by side is a little like comparing Salesforce to a Stripe payment link: one is a partner-relationship suite priced in a sales demo, the other is a $49-a-month app you set up yourself. This page lays out what each one is, what it costs with the numbers checked in October 2026, and which one fits your stage, plus the option that charges nothing until your program works.

Info

Disclosure: we make Affitor, which competes with both products. Affitor gets one clearly marked section near the end and one column in the summary table. Everything else comes from PartnerStack's and Rewardful's own pricing pages and docs, checked in October 2026. Prices drift: PartnerStack listed starting prices on its page in July 2026 and lists none in October, so check the live pages before you buy.

Quick answer: PartnerStack or Rewardful?

Choose by scope, not by feature list. If you need affiliate and referral tracking for a Stripe SaaS, Rewardful is the correct size: $49/month, set up with two scripts or a one-click integration, REST API on every plan. If you run a multi-type partner program (affiliates plus resellers plus referral partners) at mid-market or enterprise scale, PartnerStack's PRM suite and partner marketplace are built for exactly that, and its Enterprise plan adds a designated customer success manager. The trap is buying PartnerStack's scope before you have the partner motion to fill it. And if you are early enough that even $49/month of fixed cost feels premature, Affitor charges $0 until a program has made $10,000 through affiliates.

The real difference: PRM suite vs affiliate app

The pricing gap is not a discount or a markup: it reflects two different products.

PartnerStack is a partner-relationship management platform. Affiliate tracking is one feature inside it: on Launch you pick affiliate link tracking or lead and deal registration, and Enterprise runs both. The rest is the reason it costs what it does: marketplace access pitched as "Get discovered by active B2B partners", partner payments, onboarding and training tools, CRM integrations, and on Growth a learning management system, partner challenges, and market-development-fund (MDF) management. You buy PartnerStack when "affiliates" is one of several partner types you manage, and when partner sourcing itself is a channel you invest in.

Rewardful is a focused affiliate app. It tracks affiliate and referral conversions for Stripe (and Paddle Classic), lets you pay commissions by PayPal or Wise bulk payouts or through its optional Managed Payouts, and gives each affiliate a dashboard, and it stops there, deliberately. That focus is why it sets up in minutes and costs $49 to start. You buy Rewardful when you want an affiliate program running this week without a sales call.

Neither is "better." They answer different questions. The mistake is letting a comparison article flatten them onto one axis.

Pricing, checked October 2026

Rewardful is straightforward and self-serve (rewardful.com/pricing):

  • Starter, $49/mo: up to $7,500/mo in affiliate-attributed revenue, 1 campaign, up to 2 team members
  • Growth, $99/mo: up to $15,000/mo, unlimited campaigns and team, branded portal, custom domain
  • Enterprise, $149+/mo: up to $30,000/mo on the entry Enterprise tier, phone support, one-click PayPal payouts
  • A 0% transaction fee on every plan (optional Managed Payouts cost 3% of payouts), a 14-day trial, 12 months for the price of 10 on annual billing, and its REST API included even on the $49 plan.

PartnerStack publishes plans but no prices (partnerstack.com/pricing):

  • Launch: affiliate link tracking or lead and deal registration (pick one), marketplace access, an AI and MCP connector, partner payments, onboarding and training tools, CRM integrations
  • Growth: adds advanced integrations, a learning management system, partner challenges and incentives, MDF management, advanced partner segmentation
  • Enterprise: full access to link tracking and lead and deal registration, custom workflows, a designated CSM

Every plan starts with a demo: "Your final plan and pricing are confirmed during your demo." The page states no limit on partners or internal users, and its FAQ says most teams are up and running "in weeks." (Third-party reports of a per-commission cut circulate, but PartnerStack does not state one on its pages, so we do not assert it.)

The honest read: these two are not competing for the same buyer, and the pricing process says so. One publishes a $49 plan you can start today; the other prices your program in a demo.

Attribution

Rewardful uses cookie-based attribution with a 60-day default window you can change per campaign, and lets you choose first-touch or last-touch credit. It is simple and well understood, and it shares the cookie cohort's blind spot: when a buyer clears cookies, blocks them, or switches devices before converting, the affiliate can silently lose credit.

PartnerStack's Launch plan offers affiliate link tracking or lead and deal registration, and for Stripe its docs describe a webhook that listens for charge and subscription events. Beyond that we will not describe its attribution model: for an enterprise PRM it is usually part of the implementation conversation with their team rather than a published spec.

If attribution durability is a deciding factor, that is worth a direct question to each vendor, and it is the specific gap Affitor is built around, below.

Where Affitor fits

We build Affitor, so read this section knowing that. It is not trying to be PartnerStack's PRM suite, and it undercuts Rewardful's model rather than matching its feature list.

  • No subscription. $0/month, no setup fee, and $0 on the first $10,000 of affiliate revenue per program, then 3.5% of affiliate-driven sales (affitor.com/pricing, checked Oct 2026). You pay nothing until the program has already paid for itself.
  • Attribution that outlives the cookie after signup. A partner click sets a first-party cookie, and the partner whose click creates the customer keeps that customer; once the customer signs up, the customer key you send rides Stripe metadata as affitor_customer_key, so later payments are matched to the customer rather than to the cookie. The attribution window is set per program, 60 days by default, and is checked once, at the first attributed payment: the click must be no older than the window at signup (or at that payment, if there was no signup). Renewals of an attributed customer are not re-checked. Details in how Affitor tracking fits together.
  • A marketplace and recruiting help. Every live program is listed on the Affitor marketplace, and the Affitor team helps you recruit, onboard, and train partners (affitor.com/join).
  • One flat partner surface. Active partners, applications, and invites live in a single table; invitations arrive pre-written from your program's terms (commission rate, attribution window, payout threshold), which you can edit or send as-is.
  • Agent-installable and self-verifying. Affitor ships a CLI and an MCP server (beta): npx affitor onboard installs click, lead, and sale tracking and then fires a test click, lead, and sale that reports integration_verified before a real partner joins.

Affitor is the wrong tool if you need deal registration for resellers or MDF management: that is PartnerStack's territory. It is the right tool if you want an affiliate program that costs nothing until it works, with a marketplace listing and recruiting help, and that an agent can stand up for you. See the guide to starting a program or sign up.

Who should pick which

  • Pre-revenue or early SaaS, just need affiliates: Rewardful at $49/month, or Affitor at $0/month if you would rather not pay a fixed cost before the program earns.
  • Growing SaaS on Stripe, affiliates are the whole motion: Rewardful or Affitor. Decide on subscription-vs-performance pricing and on how each carries a referral after signup.
  • Mid-market/enterprise B2B with resellers, referral partners, and affiliates together: PartnerStack. The PRM scope is the point, and the price buys the marketplace and, on Enterprise, a designated CSM.
  • You want an agent to install and verify tracking for you: Affitor ships that path today with npx affitor onboard.

FAQ

Is PartnerStack more expensive than Rewardful? PartnerStack does not publish prices: every plan is priced during a demo, based on your program size, feature needs and level of support (checked October 2026). Rewardful publishes its prices, from $49/month. They price so differently because they are different categories of product: PartnerStack is a partner-relationship management suite, Rewardful a focused affiliate app for Stripe SaaS.

What is the difference between PartnerStack and Rewardful? PartnerStack is a partner-relationship management (PRM) platform: affiliate link tracking or lead and deal registration, marketplace access and partner payments, plus an LMS and MDF management on Growth and a designated CSM on Enterprise, built for B2B SaaS running many partner types at once. Rewardful does one thing: affiliate and referral tracking for Stripe SaaS, set up with two scripts or a one-click integration. If affiliates are your whole motion, Rewardful is the right size; if you run resellers and referral partners too, PartnerStack is built for that scope.

Does PartnerStack have a trial? Its pricing page lists no trial (checked October 2026): every plan starts with a demo. Rewardful offers a 14-day trial. Affitor has no subscription to trial: you pay $0 on the first $10,000 of affiliate revenue per program, then 3.5% of affiliate-driven sales.

Which is best for an early-stage SaaS, PartnerStack or Rewardful? For a pre-revenue or early SaaS, a demo-priced PRM contract is hard to justify. Rewardful at $49/month is a sane starting point, and Affitor costs $0 until a program has made $10,000 through affiliates. PartnerStack earns its price once you run multi-type partner programs at mid-market or enterprise scale.

Is there an alternative to PartnerStack and Rewardful with no subscription? Affitor: $0/month, $0 on the first $10,000 of affiliate revenue per program, then 3.5% of affiliate-driven sales. Every live program gets a marketplace listing, the Affitor team helps you recruit, onboard and train partners, and an AI agent can install tracking and verify it with a test sale from the command line.
